The Auberge is offering guided ski touring trips, specializing in non mechanized ski touring single and multiday customized trips in Rogers Pass, the Rockies and the Purcell mountains.  This service is only available for guests staying at the Auberge.

Booking Info & Cancellation Policies

We require a 35% deposit at time of booking with the balance due 2 weeks before starting date.

  • Short notice (less than 2 weeks) bookings require payment in full.
  • Bookings will be confirmed when deposit has been received.

Logistics Package

A logistics package can be provide any time for your trip or course. It will contain all pertinent information such as who, what, where, when, as well as a copy of our Waiver that must be signed before your trip starts.

Participants are responsible of their own touring equipment such as current avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel.  Rental packages are offered in local ski shops.  Please contact us for more information.

  • A waiver must be signed in order to participate.
  • Participants 18 years or younger will require a waiver signed by a parent.
  • Participation is subject to the discretion of the guide.
  • Mountain adventure has inherent risk. This risk must be assumed by all clients of the Auberge Kicking Horse B&B

Cancellations and Refunds

The following conditions apply if you cancel your booking:

  • Up to 4 weeks before start date a 10% booking fee will be withheld.
  • Cancellation at any time less than 2 weeks, full payment is withheld.

Insurance and Rescue

  • A national park entry pass costs $9.00 per day; this covers all rescue and evacuation costs. Rescue on all other land use areas like provincial parks and crown lands will be at the expense of the client. Make sure your own health and rescue insurance policies are providing adequate coverage.
