Breakfast & Recipes

Far from the traditional egg & bacon breakfast, the auberge offers a deluxe country style breakfast. Selection of fresh fruit juices, fresh cut fruit salad, home made granola, daily baked goods (muffins, loafs, or scones) home made bread, and a different hot dish daily. All with the fabulous  Kicking Horse organic coffee or a selection of herbal and English tea.

Breakfast is served at your choice of the following times; 7:30-8:00 or 8:30 AM  Should you need breakast earlier, we will provide you with a "to go" breakfast to take with you.

We also offer gluten free options for celiac diets upon request.  See the Breakfast Quinoa above.

If you have allergies, require special meals, or have dietary restrictions, please note them and we will be happy to accommodate you!


Baked Berry Oatmeal Recipe

Baked Berry Oatmeal

Mix together the following ingredients;

  • Beat together:
  • ½ cup of vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tea spoon of baking powder


  • 3 cups of regular oats
  • 1 cup of milk

Mix together
Pour in a baking dish
Top with your favorite berries
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes

Optional: You can add flax seed and hemp hearts for an extra nutty flavor.
